Looking back at the Positive Health international inspiration tour “Resilient Communities with Positive Health” on May 25th.
We connected Healthcare and Well-being with Positive Health. With a bus full of enthusiastic professionals working in healthcare, social domain, policy and in the communities from Belgium, we were visiting three best practices in the Netherlands:
- Syntein: Hans Peter Jung showed the newly build practice in Afferden and shared their long experiences on working with Positive Health.
- De Roef’ Health Center in Harderwijk, where Annelies van der Hulst shared her experiences with Positive Health in a new community centre which was created due to resident participation.
- Indekerngezond: Sandra IJpma and two volunteers explained the way of working of their neighborhood platform and meeting place, set up from residents, for and by the neighborhood. And their close cooperation with GP practice Leidsche Rijn Julius Gezondheidscentra (LRJG)
Throughout the journey, interactive assignments sparked inspiration for creating resilient communities infused with Positive Health.
