Rapid review maps scientific knowledge on Positive Health

Over the past year, a group of researchers has been working hard to map existing scientific knowledge around Positive Health. In a rapid review, they highlight the potential of Positive Health and possible new angles for future research. Many great results and also recommendations for further development of the concept and working method.

The key learning points:

  • Research on Positive Health until now focuses mainly on clients/patients in healthcare practice, and on local municipalities and communities.
  • Results on the implementation of Positive Health (on a variety of target groups) are generally promising.
  • There is a need for further development of the conceptualisation and measurement of Positive Health.
  • Positive Health does also become more and more common in the workplace and in education, research is needed there in the future.
