Positive Health in Germany – looking back at the symposium ‘Gesundheit mal anders!’

We look back at the symposium ‘Gesundheit mal anders!’ on 23rd Febuary, where we proudly launched the ‘Handbuch Positive Gesundheit in der Hausarztpraxis’. It was a great opportunity for attendees to hear insightful presentations highlighting the progress of Positive Health in practice and research across Germany and to engage in speed dating sessions with the authors of the book. It was good to hear positive feedback and enthusiasm of the attendees from a variety of perspectives from medical, social care, policy and education.

Positive Health, could be a solution for the health challenges we are facing today with a shift from disease oriented care to health oriented focus. Positive Health empowers individuals to prioritize what truly matters to them.

Here are some key highlights. Positive Health:
💡 promotes interprofessional collaboration,
💡 helps avoid unnecessary healthcare expenses,
💡 enhances satisfaction among patients and healthcare professionals alike.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a success, especially all speakers and participants as early adaptors in the movement of Positive Health in Germany.
