Implementing Positive Health in Wallonia to the next level

On Monday, February 19th, the Sustainability Unit of the Faculty of Medicine Université de Liège, in collaboration with Eclosio ONG, and in partnership with the Department of Physical Medicine of CHU de Liège and Health for Future Belgium Liège, organized an evening conference on Positive Health.

Originally developed over a decade ago in the Netherlands by Dr. Machteld Huber, the concept has sparked interest within the Belgian healthcare landscape. It has the potential to align with current concrete political ambitions regarding healthcare organization.

Dr. Karolien van den Brekel-Dijkstra from Positive Health International was invited to speak in the first part of the conference about the context, research, and inception of positive health. The second part focused on the application of positive health in daily practice, both at an individual level and within communities across various health and well-being target groups.

It was still a new concept for many, and the interactive exercises allowed everyone to experience it directly for themselves.
Nicolas Massart, early adaptor who already followed the online training Positive Health already created a coalition of the willing.
