1st Valongo Health Biennial 🇵🇹

On the 4th and 5th of April, in the city of Ermesinde, we will hold the 1st Valongo Health Biennial, accepting the challenge from the World Health Organization to reflect on Health and the Well-Being Economy. With this event we want to create a space for scientific culture of excellence, where the entire community finds knowledge they understand, promoting equity in access to information and literacy, two pillars of the municipal health strategy.
For conferences and workshops, we look for themes and speakers that bring us current and interdisciplinary perspectives, focused on the concrete lives of individuals and the community. In this 1st edition we will update the concept of Health, integrating the multiple dimensions of the person; We will look at cities and look for what can make them healthy spaces, in their different functions as places of life. On these two days, everyone can join the sessions, the language used will not be an exclusionary factor, with the commitment to ensuring rigor and quality of information, transmitted clearly, to an audience that is expected to be interested and eclectic.
Machteld Huber will provide a lecture and a workshop about Positive Health.
